A dessert that doesn't try to impress at first bite — but keeps you coming back.
Most desserts today are designed to be loud. Overly sweet, heavy, one note all the way through. You take two bites and you're finished — and you don't think about them again. What gets lost is balance.
Gentleman's Bakehouse began with a simple goal: to make something refined. Rich but not cloying. Indulgent, yet easy to keep eating. Where the flavour of real butter and quality chocolate comes through instead of being buried under sugar.
What started as careful experimentation in a home kitchen turned into something deliberate. Sweetness adjusted down a few grams at a time. Bake times shortened. Dough rested overnight instead of an hour. Written down, changed, tried again the following weekend — until every batch delivered the same thing people kept asking for: a dessert that tastes as good warm as it does at room temperature, and never feels overwhelming.
That method hasn't changed. We still bake in small batches, still only on order, and still to the same standard — restraint, balance, consistency. The range has grown beyond cookies to bomboloni, cheesecakes and tiramisu, but the rule behind all of it is the same one we started with.
Nothing here is trying to get your attention. It's trying to earn a second order.
